Location
Mudgee was first settled by Europeans in the 1820's and is the second oldest
town west of the Great Dividing Range. The region has developed into a
thriving area with agriculture, viticulture, mining and tourism driving
sound economic growth.
The area has always been known for its red wines but also produces excellent
semillon and chardonnay. In recent years high quality olive oils, tapenades,
hazelnuts and other gourmet delectables have become very popular and of
course you wouldn't go home without some famous Mudgee honey.
Getting to Kirima Cottages
Kirima Cottages are just 6 km from the Post office following market street out of the residential area towards Gulgong.
When you see the Hill End sign, turn left and travel for 2.4 km to see the "Kirima Cottages" sign on the left of the road pointing to the green gates on the right.
Up ahead you will see a small building, the reception/laundry. It is here that you will need to stop and look at the notice board to see what cottage you are in.
Make your way to the cottage and the keys will be inside.
